The Shilha are the southernmost subgroup of the Amazigh people in Morocco, inhabiting the Atlas Mountains and Sous Valley. They rely on farming and herding, and are semi-nomadic people. A notable aspect of Shilha culture is their unique clothing; women and girls are distinguished based on their tribe or village. The most important feature is a tawnza, or a crown made of silver and coral, that distinguishes women between different tribes.
